A hackathon is a chance for you and your friends to get together to create something! It's about enjoying the process of building things, also known as hacking. Whether you're a seasoned developer or new to it, there's something for everyone.
It's gonna be fun! There'll be workshops, food, prizes (oou aahh), and more surprises! You'll get to spend time with friends and meet new people. It's gonna be a great time for everyone involved!
The most important thing to bring is a laptop (and a charger). You'll also want to bring some form of ID, and any other tech you want to hack on. We'll provide food, drinks, and swag!
Nope! We recommend having some experience, but if you don't having any going in, that's okay too. There will be mentors, workshops, and other resources for you, especially if you don't have much experience. We'll also have a beginner track for those who want to learn. You can come into GamiHacks with no experience, but you can't leave without learning something new!
